This is then followed by masking off any flooring which isn't going to be treated, and where appropriate, protect any wallpaper at or near floor level.
The purpose of this step is to thoroughly clean the floor of any contaminates and to etch the surface of the old floor finish so that the final protective coats has something to grip.
This is followed by chemically and mechanically abrading of the floor, using non sanding prep and buffing machine with unique treatment pads. the edges are hand treated using specially formed precision pads.
When all of the edges or areas needing hand application are treated, Non Sanding Prep is applied to the main areas of the room. This is followed with a slow speed rotary machine which gently works the treatment into the surface to work it's magic. After testing of the floor treatment a rinsing process removes any residues making the surface ready for the next treatment. Airmovers may be placed to accelerate drying times
Damages such as small nail and wormholes up to .5cm can be repaired. Also small cracks, scratches and compression marks are treatable. Larger scratches and compression marks cannot be completely disguised but maybe improved greatly during this process
Working in tandem, A two man team complete the edging application process using precision movements and specially designed tools to ensure perfect final treatment of the floor finish, preventing premature drying out.
The first coat is left to dry natural for approximately 40 minutes with good ventilation. This is follow by a similar application of the final finish to produce an amazing, new looking floor finish
Allow this second coat to dry for approximately 4 hours before submitting floor to light use
