Carpet Colour Correction

Colour is usually the primary factor most people consider when purchasing carpet. Colour loss comes from a variety of sources such as fading from air pollutants, ultraviolet light and bleaching chemicals such as chlorine bleach, acne medication, face creams, plant food and other chemical and environment causes.

 

Add to this tea, coffee, food spills and many other types of “accidents” and you have a very ugly carpet and; possibly high replacement costs.

 

Carpet Repairs

Before you give up on your old carpet, you might be surprised at how many years of added life, a little mending can add to your carpets.

 

Nu-Life can repair your carpet as well as clean it. If you have split seams, burns, tears or waves of ripples. From a small cigarette burn to re-stretching an entire room carpet, we can do it.

"Cut and plug," which is used for small areas of carpet that are burned, stained or similarly damaged. The damaged piece of carpet is cut out and a good piece of matching carpet is hot glued into its place. If leftover matching carpet isn't available, a small piece is usually taken from a closet or similar hidden location.
