Check out the pictures below from one of Nu-Life Floor Care’s latest travertine floor restoration jobs, during this travertine restoration project in Hale Cheshire – (Travertine Floor Polishing Hale Cheshire) we first of all deep cleaned / stripped the natural stone flooring of any seals and existing cleaning residues, using the latest and most advanced natural stone cleaning solutions from – www.stonecareuk.co.uk

In the first picture here you will see the 6 year old travertine flooring has a number   of spots and spills in various areas with general soiling in all main walkways and grout lines.  The overall appearance of the natural stone flooring was dull and patchy in areas with a heavy residue build up throughout mainly caused by incorrect daily cleaning solutions.

 The customers wish was to have a “clean looking travertine floor which was polished and looking really shiny” !!

So the restoration process began and we prepared the surrounding areas using plastic protective sheeting, to prevent any over spraying from our machinery on to the skirting or walls.  We then applied Wax & Residue Remover to strip and deep clean the Travertine Flooring – this was followed by weighted rotary machines, using a mixture of abrasive floor restoration pads and brushes.  The travertine floor was then rinsed and neutralized ready for Impregnating and polishing

And finally as you will see from the picture to the left the travertine flooring was polished using diamond abrasive polishing pads giving this amazing mirror like finish.  Once the grinding / polishing process was complete we then applied out secret polishing liquid giving the most durable finish available in the UK.   This client was then given maintenance instructions and left with a perfect looking durable polished finish.
